Former Florida State Volleyball player Gabrielle Reece was the guest picker during ESPN’s College GameDay. She went with her ‘Noles as the winner in tonight’s game, despite the absence of suspended quarterback Jameis Winston.
“I think Florida State will still win,” Reece said.
She then chimed in on the Winston situation after Chris Fowler mentioned she didn’t even feel that Winston should be inside Doak S. Campbell Stadium for the game.
“I don’t think so. I think, listen I said this earlier, I don’t appreciate what it is that he said but more importantly at this point, I was joking, I said I would suspend him for not thinking it through more than what he said,” Reece said. “At this point you are a leader, public figure for all of college football and for Florida State. You have got to dial in and take advantage of this opportunity.”
In addition to Reece, ESPN analyst Lee Corso also went with the Seminoles. Fellow analyst Desmond Howard took Clemson in an upset.

Our Gameday special guest picker, Gabrielle Reece, went 6-4 on the week including the upset of Mississippi State over LSU. Lee Corso nailed another Headgear pick with FSU over Clemson, putting him at 5-0 on the year (week 1 had a special bonus headgear pick). Tim Tebow continues his “chosen one” status with another undefeated week, putting him at 13-0 on the year, including this week’s Mississippi State upset. Jennifer had a setback this week at 5-6, and Charley the Cat went 0-1 on headgear picks (3-1 on the year). Matt Millen made a triumphant return to the game this week picking Auburn over KState. We are welcoming ESPN ACC guru and Playoff blogger Heather Dinich to the party this week, with her 1-0 record on the FSU game. We look forward to her work in the future. We are also welcoming Brett McMurphy’s mustache to the club as well.
